MTFC Supports Local Young People with Prom Dress Donation

Mansfield Town Footwear & Clothing Ltd (MTFC) is proud to have supported a local initiative aimed at ensuring more young people can enjoy one of the most memorable milestones in their school life.

This week, MTFC donated two prom dresses to Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw, a well-established organisation dedicated to supporting and empowering young people across the district. The dresses will be distributed through schools in Retford to young women who may face additional barriers when preparing for their prom.

Prom events are an important rite of passage, offering students the opportunity to celebrate the end of their school journey with friends and peers. However, for some families, the cost of attending can be a challenge. By donating these dresses, MTFC hopes to play a small but meaningful role in helping ensure that every young person has the opportunity to take part and feel confident on their special evening.
